Check engine light
Well I’m quickly finding out if you gain a pound over night the car will sense it and set off a warning light.
So yesterday I drove to Denver, 275 round trip, And after breakfast started my 2012 s60 (129,000miles) up and the check engine light was on. Drove to Autozone and had it scanned which resulted in a 0089 code and a recommendation of fuel pressure sensor. It ran fine, but I changed it out and had the code cleared so we’ll see! How likely is it that this is the problem? Do I have a fuel pump swap headed my way?
on another note has anybody found the cure for tranny issues? Mine isn’t horrible, but periodically whines at a constant speed , say 45mph, and at slow speeds as the tranny is aiding in slowing say 10-15mph. It’s not all the time either. I know it’s used and don’t expect perfection, I just want a safe reliable vehicle for my daughter when she starts driving!
Any experience with Level 10 valve bodies? Will a software update help?
Thanks John
