Default Coolant & Warranty
Will using any coolant vs Volvo stuff void the warranty? What about DIY replacement? Can I buy Volvo stuff or aftermarket, put it in myself without voiding anything?

Interestingly the Volvo dealer that I have service my auto also sells G.M. products. The mechanic that services my auto at the dealership uses G.M. antifreeze and trans fluid in my Volvo. Interesting, eh what?

I don't think it will void the warranty unless the switch is the direct cause of a problem. Zerex makes the Volvo coolant (G-48 BTW) in the US and recommends G-05 as an aftermarket replacement

The stuff in the car now is the red/purple I believe, unless it's REALLY dirty!

Its really dirty!!!
When I was at the Dealer we used Cheap discount Auto coolant!!
