Hi guys, i've been scratching my head on this one... After i drive the car for about 20 minutes, the on/off/speed switch in the ECC becomes non-responsive. the speed of the blower motor remains stuck on whatever setting i left it on (can't make the blower go slower or faster, nor can i turn it off). the blower won't shut off once i turn off the ignition and take the key out.
so far i've had to yank out the fuse to make it stop.
could this be just a faulty switch? or a relay gone haywire?
i would really appreciate your help on this one... thanks a lot!

Hey! Did you ever get a resolution?
I have a 2001 S60 T5 that had the ccm die. I have put two other in it and it still does not work. What else could be wrong?
I've read on other forums that the CCM must be programmed by the dealer in order to get it to work in another car.
Is that true??? If so, then is it fair to assume that the CCM he put in his friend's car may not have been bad? Neither unit should work in a different vehicle if it requires to be programmed to the specific car.
Can anyone comment on this?
