engine revs while in idle?

Hello all, first post here. I noticed my 2002 S60 is going from about1 to 1.5k RPMs (a guess only) while sitting in idle. I had ben useing 87 octane (which dealer said was okay) and never had a problem. I go back and forth between 87 and 89 octane to try and save a bit of money. I just switched back today. I noticed the "revving" last week.

Thoughts?
