Engine serial number from VIN

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to find out the engine serial number for a Volvo s60, but I only have the VIN. Could anyone here help me look it up or point me in the right direction?

The VIN is: YV1MV28L0G2339367

I would really appreciate any help or advice on how to get this information. Thanks in advance!

Back in the day when I worked in the Ford Service department I could tell you all those things about the VIN. Very helpful information for people repairing your vehicle or grabbing spare parts at the salvage yard.
