ok like about a year ago my family went on a trip to flordia and we took the new turbo volvo for the trip. when we got there the fan thing wouldnt turn off so it drained the battary. so we waited for like a hour for the volvo dude to show up to tow it. when we took it to the dealer he said the fan was broken so he ordered a new one. for like a year it has been fine but the fan is starting to do it again. but not as long. can someone explain to me if this is normal or if it is screwed up again.

Volvo just posted a recall on the fans for a lot of cars. check into it, your car might be one of the ones in question.

 

You can go into your local dealership and have them check your car and see if it is under the new recall.There was a problem with the cooling fans they were just putting the same fans back in.Thats why they just recalled all of them now they finaly came up with a fix for the fans.Good luck
