Faulty locking
 

So my Volvo S60 2001 has been experiencing some issues with the locking system.

The issues I'm currently experiencing is that the key does not unlock the car, only the unlock button will unlock it, this morning the unlock button wouldn't unlock the drivers door, the pin would go up but immediately go back down, it would however unlock every other door. So I had to get in and open it from the inside, this was however "fixed" when I tried inserting the key and unlocking it manually ( which is the first time I've done that in a long time ) and then I discovered I can't unlock it with the key, only lock it. But that did make it so I could unlock it with the button again... But an other issue came up, every time I'd close the door the door would lock automatically,and only the drivers door.

Previous issues with the locking has been that the back right door would sometimes not lock and I'd have unlock it and lock it again a few times before it would.

Does anyone know a fix for this? I'm by no means a mechanic, but I'm willing to learn.

#Edit 1 - When I went home from work the door no longer automatically locked when it was closed.
