Front End Alignment

After a little "incident" with a curb, my 01 S60 now pulls to the right. My independant mechanic said he could not do the alignment because of the traction control on the car. Does this seem right? The car now has 2 brand new front tires, so I know that can't be the problem.

The traction control has nothing to do with doing the Alignment.

Righto! The traction control is electronic driven via the ABS system on your auto! You need to go to the Volvo dealer and get an alignment. The more "posts" that I read on this site drives me to the conclusion that you get your monies worth from the dealer and the independents seem to foul things up!! Now, I realize TECH is an independent mechanic but finding someone with his talent appears next to impossible and why then, unless you know of a "TECH", allow these independent alignment, transmission, tune-up, shops destroy an expensive automobile? If you pay a Ford price, then you are going to get a Ford (Fix Or Repair Daily) repair.

I've left the door open for you, TECH.

It doesn't have to be done bye the Dealer. What you should do is find a place that one person only does the Alignments. Then you will know it is done right.

AT our Dealer we all did the Alignments. Some people couldn't do the alignments very well at all.
