Default Fuse box location for 2021 V60

I just got a recall letter for changing the fuel pump fuse from 15 to 20A. According to the manual the fuse box is in the outside wall of the passenger footwell. Easy enough!? The only thing I see there is a small ~1.5" plastic cover and when you remove it, it has a single removable connector about the size of a USB thumb drive , which I have no idea what that is for, but not fuse box in sight. I know there are two more boxes , one in the engine bay and one in the rear cargo area.

can some one tell me where the fuse box containing the 15A fuse for the fuel pump is located being that I cant find it?

Take it to the dealer and they'll do it for free... that's what a recall is.

If you really want to do it yourself, the fuse box is under the carpet where you are already looking. The thing you found is the SIM card holder.

I do realize what a recall is, but the closest dealer is 45 minutes away and they normally have a 1.5 hour min wait (in a nice waiting area) regardless of the reason for the visit. If it's as simple as replacing a micro fuse then I'd rather do it myself.

Thanks for the direction.

Okay, just making sure. Some people may think they are supposed to replace their own fuse.

Just pull the carpet back. If you want some extra room you can remove the panel on the side of the dash and the sill panel but it isn't necessary.

Do you need to remove any trim to pull the carpet back?

Might need to remove the panel under the glove box where the footwell light is connected. Dont just yank it out after removing the 2 screws. You need to disconnect the light.
