How do I get to O2 sensor and connector

I have a turbo the air intake goes down to the blower or someplace. Plus there is the big coolant plastic pipe going across the top of the engine.

Looking down into the crevice along the hard plastic intake, I see what I think to be the O2 sensor connector. If I had 5 foot long arms I could reach across the air intake down into the dark crevice and loosen the O2 connector.

How to I remove that hard plastic intake. One person talked about removing a flexible bit of piping but I don't think they had a turbo. I watched the youtube video and they just pulled that silver bit off by hand. Removing the hard pipe gives me a chance.

Then there is the O2 sensor. Removing the heat shroud would be great but the bolts / nuts are a big rust pile. Breakage would surely be at hand and cause a bigger headache than the bank 1 heater code. I could probably get an O2 socket on it under the shroud...maybe????

So I ask, does anyone have a good protocol to remove the O2 sensor and connector on a 2002 S60 Turbo? Underneath the car from the top, exactly what is the best way?
