How to replace a serpentine belt on a S60
 

I placed the belt according to the diagram but cannot place it under the tensioner. I released the tensioner as far as it goes but still too tight. Is there a trick to it?

Yes from the bottom. I use something to hold the tensioner then from under the car loop things to where they go and release..

I tried that but the belt is still too far from the tensor. I doublecheck the diagram and is according to the diagram. Going nuts about it.

I hate to ask this now but did you check the new against the old belt just to make sure it the right one...

That is the thing it is the same belt it had on, it didn't break it just got loose. :(
