Hi guys

I'm hoping someone can help, for some reason my wheels are rubbing on the inner arch, and don't know why. The springs look in tact, and shocks seem ok?? but I'm of the impression that the gas is leaking out and it's slowing sinking. The tracking is straight and true as it was digitally aligned, so I'm at a loss?

 

What model S60 do you have? Is it rubbing all the tire or the front or back tires? Rubbing all the time or only while your turning? Do you have the OEM wheels or aftermarket wheels? Do you have OEM size tires or are they wider then OEM spec?

 

Everything is OEM, and is a 2004 S60 se Sport D5, running on 225 45 17 Accelera Tyres at the front. I believe I may have sourced the problem as the steering lock stops, mounted on the wishbones as they are worn right down. I've spoken to my local dealer who has them in stock, and will fit them tomorrow. I'll let you know how I get on

 

Somewhat common for the steering stops to need to be replaced.
If you're only getting rubbing at full wheel lock then I'd say you have it solved.

 

Problem sorted, and only cost £30. Happy Days
