my dad blew the engine (crank seal blew on the open road. ran out of oil)(cant find his exact motor anywhere in new zealand. so looking at other options) in his 2001 s60 t5. im super not handy so to be hes like a god of cars. hes has swap many motors in the many of our cars over the years included Volvos of his own.
He wants to know if there are any swaps he can do this this current cars blew motor and what would be needed to do it .

have been told the 2.5 from the later modal is the same but has a different cam or crank sensor.
