Low Battery Indicator
I installed new battery and then a few weeks later , when I am parked and using radio without vehicle running the “Low Battery” indicator comes on the dash, not sure what the issue is? Maybe have slow drain somewhere? Thanks for feedback, Kim

What exact battery did you purchase and install? And did you reset the battery monitoring system? (not resetting the battery monitor won't cause the low battery message)
Some Volvos beginning in about 2010 need to have a 30772236 or equivalent battery to avoid the dreaded low battery message. Interstate sells the Mt92-t7, which is the same exact battery (with an interstate sticker) Advance Auto parts sells a Die Hard Gold battery part number 92/t7-2. - If you compare those 3 batteries they are exactly the same other than the brand sticker - and they all have a made in Germany sticker on them - (all the other interstate batteries I sold were made in America - so something about the makeup of that specific battery) I'm certain others sell the same T7 battery as the volvo dealer also. |
Okay , thanks for the info, the battery was bought at Costco

H6 will give you the low battery message on some cars :(
google how to reset the battery monitor also (or use a compatible scan tool) - your new battery might last longer. |
You need to reset the battery monitor sensor.

How do you do that? and where is it on the car?
I also suggest to the OP to buy a multimeter so he can check the voltage at least once a week. |

The battery monitoring sensor is the little thing wired between the positive and negative cables on top of the battery. |
