I have broken two 1/2 break bars and numerous craftsman 19 mil sockets and still can not get mu lugs off. I had a hard time last time but was able to get them off ( thanks to the hydro jack handle as an extension) . This time- not so much. I even soaked them in oil after the last ordeal. Do they tighten by them selves ????

Sometimes they can be a major pain if you live in a northern climate.

 

Try using an air ratchet. I know not everyone owns one, but maybe youve got a friend that might own one? You will be able to get better tourque by using an air ratchet. Take the sockets back to sears, and make em give you a new one.
