Manual Transmission Shifting Sound - 2004 S60

Just bought this car three weeks ago......2004 S60 2.4L with 52,700 miles, manual transmission. When I push the clutch a little fast when shifting, there's a slight clinking noise...........is this normal for the manual transmission on this year/model? It drives great but just wondering if this is a symptom of future transmission problem?

i have a 01 T5 with 90,000 on it now.. and when i shift all i hear is the thump, thump.. of me taking it out of one gear and into another very fast... could be a worn bushing in a shift linkage.. its easy to see just take the center console out and there are a bunch of rods there with rubber bushings.. i recently got the polyurethane kit to make my throws stiffer though..
