Default New everything for front-end this weekend

So for my project this week-end I am replacing front: (2) Struts, (2) Front Lower Ball Joints, (2) Front Lower Control Arms, (2) Front Outer Tie Rods, (2) Front Sway Bar Links. Should make for fun times. Cars has 208K miles of rust, wish me luck!

Good luck! I always shudder before attacking the ball joints, but usually they are not bad. I hope they turn loose for ya.

Well I put up a good fight but the Volvo won the first round. 208k and 14 years generates a bit of rust. The may thing that is holding me up are the ball joints. The design my be great for driving performance but it's crap for getting the ball joints out and back in. What a night mare. Going to tag in a friend or two today to see if there is something I'm missing.

Okay I've got a problem. I can't get the drivers side hub/wheel assembly to bolt back up to the strut. I can get the lower bolt in but when I try to rotate the assembly so that the brake rotor is perpendicular to the ground to get the top bolt in something is binding. It seems like the axle is stopping it. I have checked and as far as I can tell the axle is seating in the hub fully. Am I missing anything?
