My beloved MINI Cooper S Convertible was totaled a couple of weeks ago and, after much research, I've decided I want an S60R for my next car. I'm buying used with the insurance settlement and hoping for some advice.

Currently looking at 4 cars:

2004 with 165K miles asking $8000
2005 with 95K miles asking $11400
2005 with 91K miles asking $11000
2006 modified with 89K asking $12000

I know this is just cursory info but wondering what advice you experts might offer in my decision-making process. What questions should I be asking?
