No pressure from Schrader Valve after changing Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor
Hello! New to the forum! Sorry if this has been posted before in a previous thread, but I recently did my first DIY fix on my 03 S60 and I’m not sure if everything worked out. Check engine light came on for my fuel rail pressure sensor, so I promptly ordered a new one and installed it as soon as I got it. I watched a tutorial on youtube by FCP Auto and followed everything step by step. I released all the pressure from the Schrader valve, and then swapped out the old sensor for the new one. After driving it for a while, my car suddenly stopped so I restarted it. It’s been driving fine since then, but i noticed that when I go to check the fuel pressure, nothing comes out. No fuel sprits and no air released. Is this normal? Thanks!

Do you smell fuel under the hood at all? Any leaking from the recently replaced fuel pressure sensor? While these sensors get replaced often, sensor codes don't always mean the sensor is bad. It is often telling you the values it's reading are not corresponding with where they need to be.

Camilo - the car is running and drive now right? If so, you have fuel pressure. Is the concern that you tried to hook up a gauge to measure the pressure and nothing is coming out when you press the shrader valve? Have you hooked up a guage and get no reading? It almost sounds like the valve is clogged.
