Optimized throttle body results
I spent some time over the weekend figuring out how to get the throttle body out from under the manifold, hoses, etc. for a little cleaning and polishing. While it was out I honed out the input horn a few mm and polished the bore surface. I then countersunk the throttle plate screws and thinned the shaft a few MMs top and bottom. After a few days of driving I'm really pleased with the results and pulled it back out for a little more polishing and optimizing. If you have the time and some polishing attachments for your drill this mod provides a subtle but noticable improvement to throttle response and torque. Here's a few pics of the polished up throttle body:

RE: Optimized throttle body results
No MPG improvement noticed so far. I wouldn't be surprised if it's worse, but it's more fun pushing on the GO pedal[8D]
