Philly area?
Hi all,
I posted this on swedespeed a few weeks ago, and I got some good responses there but figured I would widen my net and try here as well.
I am strongly considering purchasing a used S60 from roughly 2003-2007ish. I've been doing a lot of research so far to get an idea of the usual maintenance issues/problems, and have learned a ton so far.
If I get one, I'd love to do as much of my own maintenance as possible, but have never worked on Volvos before, and for that matter, have only ever done fairly basic things on any of my previous cars (all Japanese or American).
So what I'm wondering is if there is anyone here who would be willing to let me watch and learn while you do any of your maintenance (and I can definitely be a 2nd pair of hands if you can tell me what to do). At this point pretty much anything would be useful to me as I know how to do basically nothing on a Volvo right now.
I live in the Philadelphia area and would be up for going anywhere within like 50-100 miles while I learn the ropes.
Thanks and cheers,
Peter
