Power Control Party (Multiple Electrical Issues)

Hi. Long time forum lurker.. mostly because I'm not savvy enough to contribute much. I have a 2018 V60 CC based in USA.

Might have a fun electrical challenge for someone who really knows their stuff.

I've had long time issues with the battery showing low charge right after shutting off engine. Dealer dismissed this for years while it was still under warranty. Start-Stop was the first feature to go. Didn't bother me, I hated it. Recently swapped the aux battery but didn't notice a change. Start-Stop says "not available" when I go into the vehicle settings.

Well, recently the dashboard lit up with DSC errors, ABS failure, and city braking. Using a code reader, traced the faults to the rear wheel speed sensor. Swapped that out and all of those codes went away - dashboard is clean.

Well... despite the dashboard showing clean now, the code reader is showing errors for the license plate lights. Indeed they're out. Also references errors to the control module. Car seems to be driving fine, otherwise.

Could I have a bad ground, here? Any recommendations on how I chase it down? I checked most of the fuses (except for those hard to reach ones for the start-stop), no issues there. Also read all of those other prior forum posts. Wiring all looks OK - nothing chafed.

A Power Control Party (Multiple Electrical Issues) refers to a coordinated troubleshooting or response process aimed at identifying and resolving several electrical faults occurring at the same time within a system, facility, or device. These issues may include unstable voltage, frequent power trips, malfunctioning control units, or inconsistent performance of connected equipment.
