Default ptc valve in a 2005 2.5t?

I''m new to my s60 2.5t 109miles. I would like to know if there is a ptc valve that gets clogged. If so where is it..pic please! I put a rubber glove over the oil filler and it sucks in good. the glove also sucks in good at oil dipstick. My pcv trap has a screw type clamp on one of the rubber hose ...does this indicate that it may have been changed as Im sure it comes with all the factory type clamps. the tube from valve cover down is plyable and not hard. I just cleaned the front and rear of the engine of oil and will wait to see where fresh oil leaks happen. Seems to be coming from front crank and the rear seems to be coming out of a little slot where you can see the flywheel. What are your thoughts?

Its called PCV Postive crankcase ventilation . These get clogged and will cause oil at Cam seals and at worst case rear main seal. You can see the Flame trap under the intake manifold . These get sludge in the lines witch will cause the pressure to build as the Oil heats it will leak at any seal that make be a little week or will make a seal leak.
They sell the kits or parts at
Volvo Parts, BMW Parts, European Car Parts | FCPGroton.com
ipd.com
you need to pull the Intake and if you are doing it your self this is a 1/2 day job.basic hand tools and patience's

The PTC is not a valve, just a resistor (Positive Temperature Coefficient). It stays warm in cold temperatures to prevent moisture from freezing in the PCV tube and clogging it.

It is located in the fresh air hose, down by the turbo, where the PCV connects.

thank you. I did a lot of searching and never seen it on a s60. Mostly on the 850. they say the ptc nipple gets clogged up and causes big problems. You are saying its a resistor? Is there a nipple that gets clogged up?

Well it's a fitting in the fresh air hose. The PCV hooks up to it and there is a resistor inside the bore of the fitting that heats up to prevent freezing. So more like a heating element.
