I have seen several threads where people are spending big bucks on MAFs to trouble shoot.

I bought a brand new after-market MAF for my '01 S60 T5 for $31, and it was the entire housing with the MAF sensor mounted on it.

Just Google "REPV316708" and you will get lots of "hits" at varying prices. The same MAF is used in MANY Volvo models and years, BTW, and the ads have tables showing that.

The $31 unit performed exactly as the OEM Bosch unit (my problem was not that MAF), and I would not hesitate to install it permanently for that price! Let's face it, the OEM HOUSING is made by Bosch, but the electronic components IN the housing are probably all made by the same Chinese or Japanese manufacturers anyway.

I got mine from AutoPartsDeal.com, but others are close in price.
