I have a V60 2019 which has option of remote start from iPhone app. Only since it’s got a bit cold have I tried to do a remote start and have come up against a problem - the heater / blowers do not come on. The screen defrosts because it has a heated screen, but it’s cold as hell when I get in.
i have set all the controls to heat/blowers on the driver profile and have made sure it’s all cranked up before leaving the car - so have tried what Volvo recommend on their tutorials.
I took it to local Volvo who scratched their heads,played with the app, and the car but still not working. The central console reads Climate “off” and the only way to initiate it is b6 restarting the engine.
i have it booked in for diagnostics on the 5th, but wondering if anyone else has had this problem and knows of the solution?
