Removing oil pan
2004 S60 124000 miles.
I ran over some rocks and punctured my oil pan. So I'm trying to remove it so I can put another one on. I removed all the bolts and I just can't get it out. I'm able to move it freely as it's detached from the motor, just can't get it out. Any suggestions? |
You'll probably have to loosen the engine mounts, jack the engine from above using a cherry picker and lower the subframe to get it off. Sounds like things have moved around inside the pan due to the hole punch.
