Replacement Radiator Repair Time
Does anyone know what the repair time is to Replace a S60 2.5 AWD radiator would be? Also, I see that there is a number of different radiators available ranging from around $155 up to $200...anyone have any thoughts if they are all OE? Thanks

It should take about 2 hours. You have to get the car up high enough to get it out from the bottom. You also have to support the air conditioner condenser. It won't come out from the top.

Thanks
I have the car in a Volvo repair shop non-dealer and he quotes about 4 to 5 hours but says he usually gets it done in about 4. Thanks for the response!

Here is a step by Fixing a Leaking Radiator
took me 4 hrs with lunch and a few cold ones. As far as price Nissan i believe is OME $300+ depending on where you look.I went with Volvo Parts, BMW Parts, European Car Parts | FCPGroton.com aftermarket it fit perfect and had no issues.I i were you don't go to cheep on this .Its not worth the $50 you save if you get stuck or it leaks in 5k miles. That is just how i look at it. GL its a PITA of a job just keep track of what goes where and you should be just fine. |
Dont Go Cheap
Excellent advice! The repair shop I brought it to installed a new Volvo radiator. Fortunately the condenser wasn't damaged so the AC wasnt affected. It took around four hours and it wasn't inexpensive but I feel it is fixed correctly and that is what counts. So your advice was on the money. I can do little stuff but doing a radiator is beyond my scope and my tools so I am glad I had an expert do it. Thanks again.
