reversing lights won't work
 

hi guys and gals, please help, do the reversing lights work off more than one fuse, both lights just stopped working, I replaced the fuse with a known good one and still no power making it's way to the bulbs, if not what do you thinks it could be......is there a connection under the central console near the gear lever ( shift ) that might have come loose, I ask before removing it to check.
have you experienced it before...
Oh, by the way, there are no messages appearing to tell me that they aren't working.

According to the wiring diagram there is a relay for the reversing lights. It is in the rear electronic module.

Thanks for the reply bill, ( I live in stockton so not far from you, presuming your Durham is the north east England )... beleive it or not I got in the car this morning and everything was OK,,,, but will check that the relay is seated correctly .

Yes, just up the road and we have to communicate via the US.

Keep an eye on it as relayssometimes 'play up' for a time before dying. Of course it may be just a bad connection somewhere.
