S60 2.0T 2001 Oxy Sensor?
Hi,
I own am S60 that yesterday, after parking the car for 10 minutes (still warm) when I came back to drive again the car started to have a very bad idle, wouldn't stay on unless i pressed the accelerator. If i floored it, it wouldn't go over about 3000 rpm, was unable to drive with any inclination due to loss of power.
Turned off the car and got the following error codes:
P0443 EVAP System Purge Control valve A circuit
P0030 HO2S Heater control circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1
P00134 O2 Sensor Circuit No activity Detected Bank 1 Sensor 1
Cel was on on the dash
Boost pressure sensor code was also present
After clearing the errors the CEL went off and car returned to be drivable but CEL came on shortly after with just code P0030
Attached is a file with data from my last trip.
Any help is appreciated.

Oxygen sensors have a heater in them - to get the sensor up to temp quicker because they don't give a correct signal until they are xxx degrees. The ECU ignores the signal from the O2 sensors every time the car is started for x period of time. If you keep getting a heater code either the heater is bad or there is a wiring problem or no power getting to the heater circuit in the O2 sensor. The ECU knows the heater is bad by the amount of current it uses. If it has an open circuit because it's bad or disconnected, a code will be set. A bad O2 heater will not make the car run bad. The evap code won't make the car run bad either. O2 no signal code - the ecu should default to something where the car will run, the O2 can only change the mixture slightly.
Your car is a 2001 - and the running problems you described are typical of what happens with a worn Magneti Maretti (sp) throttle unit. They were used on the 99-2001 all (except s40) and -02 nonturbo cars and are a known failure point. How old is yours?

The car was registered on the 19th March 2001, so i'm guessing was built before that date.
The car ran almost like it was missing 2 or 3 cilinders.
I replaced all 5 coilpacks not long ago.
Would the throtle unit cause the car to not keep idle?
The more strange thing is that when i drove home the car was running fine, ater beeing off for 10 minutes, whene i went to drive to the gym it acted up like this.

Look here for info on throttle modules. Really bad design - Lamborghini had two of them on their engines back then!
