S60 Draining Channel Issue
This might be a weird question, but here goes. I few months ago I had some engine work done on my 2013 S60. I had to have my piston rings replaced (long story in another post). I noticed last week when I was washing my car that the draining channel/cowl grille, the large plastic trough that seals the windshield at the bottom and funnels water away from the windshield had a gap in it and looks dimpled below the windshield. Luckily it hasn't really rained (nor have I really washed my car) since the work was done. I've tried using a flat screwdriver to pop it back over the lip but it seems stuck in this new shape. Would the Volvo mechanics have had to remove the draining channel in order to get into the engine to repair the piston rings? Is there any logical way this could have happened on its on? Thanks!
