I just bought a 2004 s60 2.5t, and have been getting only 15 mpg. Is this normal? It seems very low. I do not drive in a city either, or accelerate quickly. Any ideas on what i could do to improve this? Would replacing the PCV valve help?

 

It should help, also try a tune up, fuel filter, also check tire pressure.
