S60 Radio ipod hookup
 

I just bought a 2006 s60r a few days ago and I already think it's the best car I've ever driven bar none, my only complaint is the lack of an aux input. I've been looking through this forum and another volvo forum looking for how other people have gotten around it and the two answers that always come up are to get one of those GROM aux adapters, or to settle for an FM tuner. Both of those are definitely viable, but one thing I haven't seen anyone discuss or even ask about, and I apologize if I just missed the posts that do mention them, is a simple Ipod female to aux adapter, something like this:

I assume at some point someone has tried those or something like those, do they not work and that's why I haven't seen them suggested?
