Hi I'm looking at replacing the pads and rotors on my wife's S60 but I've not been able to find a Bentley or Chiltons manual for this vehicle. Does anyone know where I can find something similar? Also is there anything unusual about the brakes on this vehicle I should be aware of before I begin? I've done brakes on many different vehicles in the past but never a Volvo.

 

I've done both front and rear brakes and they arepretty straight forward. I have not seen a manual, but I did briefly subscribe to all-data.com and found the on-line service information to be almost useless for rear suspension work. I hear the VADIS manuals available through Volvo is pretty good.

If you've done disk brakes before, you can probably tackle these pretty easy... The only thing different to be careful of was the little wire for the ABS sensors.

After a bit more searching I found VADIS 2005A but it doesn't have anything on the 2006 models as far as I can tell. I entered the VIN number and I think it shows the correct engine (b5254t2) for the 2006 2.5T but it shows the car as a model year 2005 so I can't be certain. I'm curious how much actually changed from 2005-2006? I haven't been able to find much in the way of a 2006 or newer VADIS DVD. Any info would be appreciated.
