Default Tire puncture on my S60R

Hello Everyone. New to the forums and all.

(Skip if you'd like)
About a month ago I managed to buy a 2006 Volvo S60R AWD with a 6 Speed manual. It runs beautifully and was well maintained. It was never taken out onto a track and was owned by a 77 year old retired Ford engineer that had traded it in to get a Range Rover Evoque. I managed to take the price down from $14,480 to $11,252. Anyways I need the forums help with the slight tickle I am currently in.

Just yesterday tire was punctured driving north on I-275/I-96 (Michigan)

Was going around 60 miles per hour leaving 2 car lengths of space from the car infront of me. There was also a car to my left side and I was driving on the farthest right lane with a car behind me at about the same length.
Hit the pothole and was now punctured. It's a Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 235/40-18

I have full intention on claiming a pothole damage claim available for interstate potholes (available in michigan).

I want to save as much money as I can, and I know that purchasing 1 tire for an AWD car will destroy the differentials.

What should I do?

1) Purchase 1 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 235/40-18 and then have it shaved?
2) Purchase 4 Kumho Ecsta AST 235/40R18 for $99.00 per tire and have them installed for a total of $470.00

^^^ I'm only considering these because they are cheap, tread patterns seem nice and they are only going to be a short term purchase (until the winter or if I manage to find a better paying job)

If there are any other option I can take, please reply or message me.

3rd option might be to comb the local tire shops or scrap yards for a matching tire. Ebay is also a good place to pick up a used tire.

All tires I have purchased on eBay give the tread depth.
Invest in an inexpensive tread depth gauge to monitor tread depth in the future.
