Upgrades and questions 2.5T S60
Hey guys and girls,
I was wondering if I were to upgrade to an aftermarket front mount intercooler (overall size: 24.5" x 11.75" x 3" / core size: 17.5" x 11.75" x 3" / in-outlets: 3" Dia. / cfm: 1250) and using a factory compressor with the ECU flashed by RICA [stg 2] would I have any vacume issues with the increased size in the intercooler and going to 3" hard piping?
The car is equipped with the following; turbo back 3" exhaust, IPD HD CBV spring, IPD HD boost control box, custom hard pipe on the hot side of the charge pipes (turbo to intercooler), home made heat shield and charge pipe with cone filter. RICA iSoftloader STG 2 tuning [1st/2nd gear torque limiter removed, RPM limiter pushed further back, more aggressive tuning for higher boost, top speed limiter removed].
I figure besides moving up to a larger compressor I'll will upgrade the FMIC prior to that so I would be ready for that upgrade in the future. I just don't want to start getting this and getting pipes made if the car wont accept and compensate for the larger than stock intercooler.

P.S. The FMIC in question is Mishimoto's "G line" Intercooler.
