Hello all. I have a 2008 s60 and I need to change out the front seats both the passenger and the driver side. I have an opportunity to purchase the same color seats from a 2006 V70. Will the v70 seats fit the S60?

 

The seat bottom and back frames and the sliding rails are the same part numbers on a 06 70 and a 08 s60

If you do use those - be sure to swap (after making sure the wiring is the same) the seat control unit/s - the drivers is programmed to your car.

 

thanks for the answer. i don;t need to swap out between s60's...what i need is to know whether the 08 S60 front seats can be changed to a 2006 v70. pls advise. thanks.

 

As above - the seat frames and rails are the same part numbers for a v70 and a s60 in that year range.

You might call a Volvo junkyard and ask if they are compatible -

 

i call the junkyard. they said they are not compatible. i also called 3 dealers. two said yes and one said no.

 

My local Volvo junkyard says 05-08 seats should work. Make sure the seat control unit is swapped from the old seat.

Hello everyone, I got some atacama front seats out of a 2004 S60R. They are in really good shape, when I went to take out my seat, I looked at the motors underneath and realized they are not the same as the ones on the V70R seats. I was told it’s as easy as just switching the modules underneath since they came from the same year car. Just different model, just don’t know how to go about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated !
