Hello everyone new to this forum and i need some help on my 2003 Volvo s60 2.5T AWD.
I recently took my radio out and i forgot to take the negative cable from the battery (stupid of me) and now the car has "SRS airbag service urgent" warning light. After that i decided to take it to a local electronic garage so that they can try to reset the warning light via the OBD2 port. But they couldn't connect with the car (that's what they said). and after that the car started normally but the headlight are constantly on when the **** is set at off position and also the turn signal will not work both left and right.
(Before the local electronic garage did the OBD2 read everything was fine beside the SRS warning light.)
Can someone please tell me whats wrong with my car.
Thank-you

Do the dash signals operate when the signal lever switched up or down or is everything non-responsive? Can you hear the flasher relay working? Are the turn signal bulbs working at all? Do they work when the hazard button is depressed?
You probably know by now that the SRS message can really only be reset by the dealer or a shop with dealer equipment.

FYI I was working on an electrical problem and inadvertently converted the car to the daytime running light mode. The Owners manual described an easy way to overide it. You dont want to leave the battery disconnected for long on most vehicles as this tends to erase the computer chip memory.
