sorry if my English not perfect regarding car parts and mechanical stuff, I have Volvo v60 D2 2014, last year we changed the engine, as soon as I changed the engine a weird noise was coming from the front ,, turned out to be the flywheel,, the technician advised to change all the kit, since there is no Volvo dealership in Tunisia I had to look elsewhere,, it tole me a while since I found a similar clutch kit from Ford parts, we installed it .. after 5 days noise coming again ,, then it broke one day ,, toke it to the garage we found the disk is bro king in 3 pieces, the mechanical adviced to look for an original one even if but used found one without disk, fitted and put the same disk I brought last time,,, worked 3 days and then the Beamer broke and oil leaked and the disk broke again, next I asked a friend in Turkey I sent him the car vin number and he sent me the full kit , but when I received it the plate didn’t match the flywheel we fitted the new disk with new flywheel with another plate that we found here and was compatible, and new Beamer as well.
now it’s been 2 days I here whistling or like squeaking WHEN THE PEDAL IS NOT PRESSED .. When I press it the noise is gone, when I drive the car above 30km speed all is great no noise nothing wrong, BUT as soon as I take my feed off the clutch pedal a very strong noise like squeaking ,, but if I press the clutch pedal or the accelerator alone the noise is gone..
we are fed up and the
mechanics all are frustrated some say the plate some say the Beamer and am seriously out of my mine spent more than 6k in less than 2 months and nothing is working..
