1998 S70 GLT turbo oil leak

Hi all, the oil is leaking from the dipstick tube . I cleaned the engine and saw that the oil is running down the tube. I checked the oil level and it needed a quart. Someone mentioned to me that it might be a cloggedflame trap. Where is the flame trap located ? Thanx

Turbo cars don't have a flame trap.
They has a series of hoses that will get clogged. But I would reccomend replacing the vent box and clean all hoses.

The vent bos is under the intake manifold which needs to come off to replace.
There is a few hoses. One comes off the top of the ventbox and goes to under the spark plug cover. One comes off the side of the ventbox. The other goes from either the end of the intake behind the power steering pump to the induction hose just before the turbo.
Or it goes from a vacuum source on the intake to the hose just before the turbo.

It worked. No more oil leaking. Thank you so much Tech. I really appreciate your help. There is just one more problem. The service light stays on for about 2 minutes afterstart up. I've tried the OBD II scanner and also holding the trip odometer reset button but none of that worked. How can I reset it ?

The 98 needs a special reset tool to reset it.

Would the Snap-on Scanner reset it ? If not, what's the name of the tool and where can I get it or is the dealer the only option ?

Does anyone have pictures of these hoses that should be checked and replaced?

I had a small leak in mine and I replaced a little elbow shaped hose near the firewall which was attached to a skinny purple tube that went all the way to the radiator area, and the leak seems to have gotten better (not as much) but I want to make sure I check/replace the proper ones.

You replaced the air pump one.

I would check all the ones going to the turbo.
