1998 S70 Not starting
It started with the car just stalling while driving. I replaced the fuel pump relay 2 times and it started right back up. 3rd time it stalled nothing worked .Time to get a tow home. The only way I can get 12 volts
on the fuel pump connector is to run a jump wire strait from the battery to # 87 on the pin were the fuel pump relay goes. I tried jumping #15 & #87. I get no 12 volts at the plug for the fuel pump. I changed the fuel pump and the throttle body sensor & the air control valve also. Also ignition switch assembly. Help jpirish 91 240 173K 2 98 XC 1 98 S70 |
Sounds like it could be a wiring issue. Most likely from the ignition switch to pin 87 on the pump relay. One thing you could try is remove the computer module and reseat it. Probably won't fix the issue, but definitely worth a shot.
