98 S70 check engine light won't go off

I've been a mechanic for many years but I will admit I'm not as familiar with Volvos as most of you are so I'm seeking your input. A friend has a '98 S70, her check engine light was on, I scanned it and got two codes, P1307 Accelerometer and P0107 MAP sensor. I replaced both parts, cleared the codes. The CEL came back on within seconds of starting it. I scanned and it shows no codes. If I pull up data stream on my scan tool then recheck for codes the same two codes came back. I figured it meant the ECM is bad. Replaced it, same thing. If I clear the codes the CEL comes on but scanner pulls no coeds without going into data stream. The car runs well. I'm stumped on this one! What do I need to do to get the CEL to stay off? Thank you in advance for your help.

Wiring Issue maybe??

I agree. You'd think the only way it could set a code that fast would be that the return voltage is totally out of range.

Neither of those sensors does anything, which explains why it runs okay. It's tough to fix that sort of thing without a breakout box.
