99 s70 transmission, wiring harness, still will not run right.
about a month ago my transmission went out on my 1999 s70 with 223K miles. I found a used one and had it put in. i go to leave and the check engine light is on and it runs rough. i go back they check it and it comes back with
P0350 - Ignition Coil Primary/Secondary Circuit and P0354 - Ignition Coil D Primary/Secondary Circuit. so it was determined that i should get a new coil pack for cylinder D. i go and switch it out and the light does not go out. i go to check it and it comes back with P0350 - Ignition Coil Primary/Secondary Circuit P0351 - Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit P0352 - Ignition Coil B Primary/Secondary Circuit P0353 - Ignition Coil C Primary/Secondary Circuit P0354 - Ignition Coil D Primary/Secondary Circuit P0355 - Ignition Coil E Primary/Secondary Circuit I bring it back to the guys that put it in and they have it tested at a friends shop with better equipment. they come back and say its a flywheel that is out of alignment. so they put one in and it does the same thing. I then take it to the dealership to get it diagnosed. they say it is a wiring harness. so I go get a used one because a new one is $1300+ so i find a used one and put it in. I start it up and it runs a little better but not good. i take it for a test drive and it dies after 1.5 miles. the codes that come back are the same as before and also P01081. i get it back home change out the plugs. its hard starts and runs rough.I clear the codes and they all come back but the P1081. I have been told that is it very very rare to have that many coil packs go bad at the same time. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. |
