Default Battery issue

1998 S70. Battery died. Wouldn't take a charge and couldn't jump it. Bought a new interstate battery. Installed it. Hazzards came on. Ho to turn the key, all the lights came on but nothing at the starter. Foot on brake, nothing. Put it in neutral, nothing. Other than installing a new battery, do I have to do some kind of programming or something?

no programming - check fuses as its possible you blew a fuse on the install. Also check battery terminals for tightness and terminal cleanliness etc.

What fuse or fuses should I look out for? Also, the hazards are coming on automatically once I open the door and stay on for quite a while
