Car bogs after ~2.75k RPM
 

Question for yall! So my S70 n/a is experiencing some problems. Mainly, the car bogs completely after about 2.75 rpm, no power what so ever. It also has a rough idle when the car is started. Also has some hesitation. However, besides the sometimes occurring hesitation, the car feels like it has close to full power below 2.75 rpm. It has a code p0171 (running lean). There is no black/white/blue/orange smoke. It has a new o2, IAC, MAF, fuel filter, distributor, distributor cap, plugs & cables all very recently installed. So, who wants to hazard a guess at this?

Usually the P0171 code means you have an open vacuum line somewhere. Have you replaced the flame trap or had the PCV system serviced lately?

thanks for the input. i actually have one more code, which i forgot to mention. the code comes up EVAP large leak. i forget what the number is. one more tidbit - once in a blue moon, the car will run flawlessly when starting up, only to fall on its face again later.
and no, rspi, i have not had the flame trap system worked on since ive owned it. (bought at 145k, now 179k)
