Car stutters at 3,000 RPM?

Well i posted something on this before but i thought it was something else?

I had replaced a coil because it went out, then about 2 weeks later the car started to "stutter" at 3,000 RPM's, i replaced coil 2 then the stuttering stopped for about 2 more weeks and started to happen again so i replaced coil 3 and it got better.. then about a month after that the car started to stutter again.. i just finished replacing the last 2 coils so the car has 5 new coils. but the stuttering @ 3,000 RPM's is still happening..

my question is.. is it normal for a car to stutter or misfire at only 3,000 RPM's if a coil is going out? or could it be a different problem..

I'm buying all new plugs tomorrow hopping that it will fix this issue..

Also, no codes are coming up right now.

I doubt that you are having a misfire if you are not getting a cel. Is this with the car moving or just sitting there? Could be a fuel delivery problem.

I did get a cell, it was #2 misfire..
I bought all new plugs and replaced them and when i was taking the old ones out #2 was not as tight as it should have been so i'm wondering if it being somewhat loose could have caused the misfire, now i have all new coils and plugs and its seems to be working fine!

and the misfire would happen on acceleration only at 3,000 RPM's, it would stutter and when it would go past 3,000 the stutter would stop, so it would only miss for a second or 2 at that point..

Wierd. I don't have a clue. Have you done a compression test? Can you swap a wire?

Have not done a compression test, the issue seems to be resolved..

I've been driving it for 2 days and seems as smooth as ever now, if it happens again i'm sure ill do that.

Thanks for the replies!!
