Code p0108
I got a check engine light and read the code and it was p0108
MAP/Baro High circuit voltage I bought a new map sensor figuring the problem would be resolved...nope! I cleared the code and it's still there. Am I missing something? There is an o-ring attached at the bottom of it. I took off the old one and there was no vacuum line attached, just the connector from the harness. The car drives and idles fine. What else should I be looking for? |
oddly enough, i blew in the old sensor and plugged it back in and it worked...i will update later tonight
|
Hopefully all is well.

Well, I did about 30 miles of driving and no check engine light. I have a feeling I haven't heard the last of p0108... dun dun dun....
Is it common for new MAP sensors to be DOA? |
Not real common but always possible.

Is it common for new MAP sensors to be DOA? After that I have been code clean again and have put over 1000 miles on it. Yes, they can go bad. And I think after 150 miles you may be home free. The car won't run any differently either way. |
where is it? what does it look like?

I got a p0108 map sensor high intake CEL code today. I installed a Eurosport Intake two weeks ago.. thinking this is where the code is stemming from. Anyone have any idea how to keep this code from coming back with the high flow intake installed?
