Default cool/cold weather problems

Stopped for a coffee on the way to work, let the car idle to let it warm up the rest of the way(3 mins max), when I came back to the car it was making a weird squealing kind of noise. Of course as I walked up to the car to open the door it subsided before I could reach in toshut it down. I kind oflikened it to the sound some crap cars make while driving, like a power steering pump going out or something to that effect. Man, I'm getting too many cool tempature problems right now and its kind of freaking me out.[:@] Gotta get a clue before it actually gets cold out. Ottawa gets fricken' cold sometimes.

So far when its near 0 degrees, slow to start(but starts),the idle goes down a hundred or two(automatic) while decelerating to a stop while the car is warming and for a short time afterwards. Then today the squeling thing I just wrote about. And also the square shaped canister purge valve made areally loud ticking sound sometimes during last winter.

I don't know where to start with replacement aside from a PCV which is due, I want to order parts together if possible.
Suspect devicesoriginal parts)purge valve
fuel pump relay
air pump
MAF
Idle air unit(clean)

It gets treated too good to be like this, and its PMO now. Anyone else dealing with seasonal depression? ha.

Last timing belt and pulley change?

I would clean the idle motor and throttle body.
