The ECC on my 98 S70 T5 recently started acting up, and it has the dreaded blinking lights on the ECC control panel. The fan control works fine but I cannot change the airflow direction, and no air out if the defrost vents at all. Is there a specific scan tool that works on the 98 model, and that will perform the motor adjust function. I want to try all I can to fix it before pulling the entire dash......I did that once and it ain't a lot of fun. Also is the ECC control panel on a 98 specific to that year only, or will any year control panel work?
