Engine Swap from 850-T5?

I think I am good to go.. I still want to look at the boost.. I expected it to drive like my '97 850GLT, but it drives more like my 850T-5 from back when.. Which is the same model engine as is now installed.. So, interresting observation until I actually look at the boost levels..
Other than that, I will keep an eye on it to make sure it goes full "READY" with no more DTC's before I call it a perfect swap. :-)
But, so far it looks pretty good..

So, I am running into an issue here...
The Engine Cooling Fan was working great last week, but yesterday I was driving in traffic and noticed the temps kept climbing on my OBD gauge.. The gauge on the dash was locked at 3-Oclock position, which was weird, while the OBD gauge showed me rising all the way to 200F. When I would start moving again, the temp would go back down to 175, then back up when I stopped. After I got home, I left the car running, and popped the hood.. The fan wasn't running at 200F with the AC on.. I shut down the car, and jumped from the battery to the relay connectors, and when I grounded either of the center 2 pins, the fan came on at the 2 different speeds.. So, good fan, good relay, bad what? :-)
For now, I will keep the jumper in the car so I can manually engage the fan if need be, but what could be going on here? The OBD gauge shows proper temp, but the instrument cluster doesn't.
Is it possible the ECT sensor or thermostat is bad?
The engine warms up just fine, and I have no codes after a few days of driving..
I also don't have a "READY" either..
Thanks!
