Fog light kit...sorta
Hi everyone. Question quick.
I was down at the junkyard and noticed a 98 S70 with fog lights on it. Lucky! I've been looking for some fog lights for my 98 S70. I quick referenced the iphone and grabbed the switch, the foglights, the grills and relay 213 from under the dashboard. However, I can't find what else to grab. I know there is another fuse in there, but I can't seem to find it. As it sits now I have them in, looking good, but when I hit the switch, the little red light doesn't illuminate like it should. Any idea what else I should grab? I've tried to use the search function, but I can't seem to find the exact number of the relay/fuse/complete list of components in the kit. Thanks to all! You will also need the main lighting relay from the donor car- they're different- it's the big relay in the underhood fuse box- unscrew the cover to access- and the "jumper" relay from under the dash- it looks like a relay, I think it's white in color, towards the bottom, and it has 2 terminals. it weighs very little, as ALL it is is just a jumper from one terminal to the other. Add these items, and the fog lights should work. Good luck!

So I take it some of the s70's came with foglights? I was thinking of putting some in my car but I didn't know how they would look. Will the same ones from a normal s70 fit in a v70r bumper? Also, in my car I have a sunroof and I have the button for the sunroof to open but when I push it nothing happens. Do you they installed the sunroof button even if its one of those sunroofs that don't open? I look at the sunroof and it's hard to tell if it's made to open.

Yes, s70s did come with optional fog lights. Its good cuz right next to the rear fog light switch, the blank panel next to that has the connector and everything so you can install it. You may need to get some software installed for everything to work, not sure.
